Pending Applications

• Ohio Power Siting Board Regulatory Filing.
• Construction of new electric power transmission lines to operate at or above 100-kilovolts, and greater than 2 miles in length.
• Re-construction of existing electric power transmission lines at or above 100-kilovolts for which re-routes total more than 2 miles in length.
• Approximate 7-month review process.
• The Ohio Administrative Code requires an applicant to submit fully developed information on two sites/routes for a standard certificate application. Each proposed site/route must be designated as a preferred or an alternate site/route. Each proposed site/route must be a viable alternative on which the applicant could construct the proposed facility.

• Construction of new electric power transmission lines to operate at or above 100-kilovolts, and greater than .2 miles in length but not greater than 2 miles in length.
• Re-construction of existing electric power transmission lines that operate at or above 100-kilovolts, and are greater than .2 miles in length.
• Construction of a new electric power transmission substation or upgrade of an existing substation where there is a greater than 20 percent expansion of the fenced area.
• 90-day review process, 28-day expedited review process.

• Re-construction of existing electric power transmission lines to operate at or above 100-kilovolts, and not greater than .2 miles in length.
• Additions to existing power transmission substations where there is a 20 percent or less expansion of the fenced area.
• Less than 90-day review process, 21-day expedited review process.
